SYNOPSIS
Madrid, 1980. Enrique Goded is a successful youg director who is looking for new story. Going through the papers finds the text about a woman who threw herself in a pool full with crocodiles in one Taiwan zoo.
As the bloodthirsty animals butchered her, she held them and didn't make any sound.
Totally unexpected, a person comes to visit Enrique introducing himself as his school-friend Ignacio and offers him a short story inspired by their childhood and school days. In this young man Enrique doesn't recognize Ignacio, a boy with whom he has been discovering love, film art, but also fear, repression and hypocrisy.
He reads the story with the great interest not knowing that in his hands he has a material for his next film. Interest in a story that brings him back to past, but in a mysterious stranger too, brigs him to the knowledge that real Ignacio is dead for three years. Wanting to know the reasons why the stranger has introduced himself falsely and why his friend Ignacio is dead, Enrique enters an adventure at all costs.
The story has been transformed into the screenplay and the shooting starts. On the last day of shooting another mysterious man appears - father Manolo, also a man from the past who has a significant role in Enrique's and Ignacio's story. Old "friend" offers answers to all questions Enrique has. Listening to him, Enrique feels like a woman who throws herself into the pool fool with crocodiles and holds them as they rip off her flash.
